The Florida Intelligence Unit will host the 2019 FIU Annual Training Conference September 30 - October 4, 2019. The event will take place at the Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. Just 35 minutes from Orlando and conveniently central to Central Florida, Mission Inn Resort & Club also provides picturesque rolling hills, orange groves, and shimmering lakes, the area draws golf enthusiasts, fishermen and eco-tourists who enjoy being surrounded by the region’s expansive natural beauty.
Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests with a special group rate at the Mission Inn & Resort & Club. In order to receive the group rate, reservations must be made before the room block is filled or before the expiration date of August 17, 2019, whichever comes first.

Payments & Cancellation PolicyFIU accepts cash, check, credit card and purchase orders. All payments should be made payable to the Florida Intelligence Unit and remitted to FIU - Conference Registration PO BOX 948333 Maitland, FL 32794-8333. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Training@myfiu.org by September 1, 2019, to receive a full refund. All cancellations are subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee. Refunds after this date will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Substitutions may be made at any time. In the event of a substitution, please email Training@myfiu.org. Please include the registrant’s name you are canceling and the new registrant’s full name and agency email address. NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED AT THE FULL CONFERENCE RATE.
FIU is mindful the 2019 Annual Training Conference falls during the transition from one budget year to another for some agencies. If payments need to be made after October 1, 2019, please let us know, we will be happy to accommodate an agency’s request.
